My husband and I were first time home buyers and spoke with many lending companies. Most of them turned us away saying they couldn’t help us. I did my re-fi through Reliance First Capital last summer. I had the pleasure of working with John in their Ohio office. I did my homework. And to the person below who said use ******* *****, good luck wasting your money there...I worked with them for 4 months and got nowhere!! Reliance is one of the top rated companied on ******* are not even close to the ratings of Reliance. John was going through a very rough time, losing his father, and he still would call me from the hospital parking lot while working from his vehicle, and he would step outside to call me back even though I told him he didn't have to. That to me is dedication you just don't find anywhere. John truly cared about me, what I needed and wanted (and not like ******* did to me) and even helped me when I had troubles with my computer after hours in the evenings to keep me from getting frustrated. As an older person who isn't great at technology, he has the patience of a Saint and is a great young man. Our processor Jennifer was great, too. She was so nice, and always started every call asking me how I was, not just "I need this or I need that." It's very rare with all the Mortgages I have done over the years. I could not be happier with Reliance and John Maus. I even recommended my son to John for his home he will be buying this spring. Thank you John and Reliance again. P.S. John was even knowledgeable enough to know that I could call my County tax office and get my Taxes for my home cut from $6,800 a year to $3,500 just because my wife passed away and I was a "single-income" household again. He literally allowed me to have food in my house again because of that I am having fewer health issues.
